Where knowledge meets experience

Currently, Adele is the Chair of the Essex Apprenticeship Ambassador Network, a body of Essex-based apprentice employers who meet monthly to discuss implementing national policy on a local level, implications for their business, sharing advice and offering support.

We therefore feel we are best placed to provide specific advice on the complexities of utilising the apprenticeship levy, selecting training providers and recruiting apprentices.

Did You Know?

  • It was introduced in April 2017, (coinciding with reform of the Apprenticeship system)
  • Around 2% of UK businesses now pay the Levy
  • The Apprenticeship Levy is essentially an additional payroll tax
  • It is set at 0.5% of an employer’s annual pay bill
  • It is collected through PAYE

  • Businesses
  • Charities
  • Schools
  • All industry sectors with an annual pay bill of more than £3 million
  • Groups of companies under a common ownership structure will be treated as one business
